The Oxford Institute is a not-for-profit organization founded by former and current academics at Oxford University and is accredited by the British Accreditation Council as a further education and short course provider.
The Institute organises a two weeks residential summer programme that allows students from all over the world to experience academic life in Oxford. The students stay at one of the constituent colleges of University of Oxford. They use all facilities such as accommodation, lecture rooms, dining, sports fields and socialising areas normally only available to students at University of Oxford. The students are taught by the lecturers, tutors and professors at University of Oxford in their chosen field of study. All of our tutors and lecturers therefore are either current or former lecturers, researchers or students at Oxford University.

Here at the Oxford Institute we have an enthusiastic team of administrators who work day and night to make the Oxford experience worthwhile for our summer school students.
Samuel heads the Administration Team at The Oxford Institute. He has worked for many years as an Account Manager and an Administrator in a Research firm. Samuel is responsible for making sure that your time in Oxford is pleasant and that the course runs smoothly.
Our lecturers mostly hold a lecturing or tutoring position at the University of Oxford. They organise the academic activities for the program including lectures, tutorials and guest speaker seminars.
Maria is a final year Philosophy, Politics and Economics student at Christ Church, Oxford University. She was elected President of the Oxford Union, the world renowned debating society that includes Benazir Bhutto and William Gladstone amongst its former Presidents, for Hilary Term 2012-13 and oversaw the organisation of all university-wide debates, socials and speaker events. Maria shall convene the sessions on Oxford style debating and introduce the students to century and a half old tradition of free speech, eloquence and leadership at the Oxford Union.
Adnan holds an MPhil degree in Innovation, Strategy and Organisation from Judge Business School, University of Cambridge and is currently a PhD student at the Oxford University in Politics International Relations. He is a published author and has over 5 years experience of academic research and teaching.
With a background in English Literature (BA, University of Oxford 2008), Anna is studying towards a PhD in the History of Science, Technology and Environment. Her current research areas engage with the challenges and possibilities of interdisciplinary research, the history of botany, and early modern collecting cultures.
Megan holds a Ph.D degree in Oriental Studies from the University of Oxford. She has also completed an MPhil degree in Modern South Asian Studies and a Bachelors degree from University of Indiana, USA. Megan remained the General Secretary of the Oxford University Model United Nations and has excellent public speaking skills.
Harry has recently graduated from Oriel College, University of Oxford in Molecular and Cellular Biology and was a visiting scholar at Princeton University, USA for the academic year 2013-14. Harry is originally from Korea and has been helping overseas applicants with their Oxbridge applications since his first year at Oxford.
Deans are responsible for facilitating the students during the program and making sure that they are taken care of. The Deans are also responsible for maintaining discipline.
Tabitha holds an M.A. in Geography and Development and a Graduate Certificate in Water Management and Policy from the University of Arizona. She is currently based in Cambridge, and is doing doctoral work in Development Studies with a focus on international climate politics. She is is experienced in teaching undergraduate students, as well as in managing student welfare.
Nazish studied Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford and holds a Masters degree in Management and Information Systems from the University of Manchester. She has extensive experience of working in the technology sector. She has also supervised students at various Summer School programs for many years.
Ayyaz holds a M.Biochem. degree from the University of Oxford and is currently reading for a PhD degree in Environmental Studies. He is an experienced tutor and has supervised students in Oxford for a number of years.
Tom read History at the University of Oxford. After working in technology, he joined us as an IT tutor, bringing industry and academic knowledge to this and other subjects. As Senior Adviser to the Oxford University Rifle Club, he remains close to the University, offering coaching, mentoring, and advice, as well as covering safety, welfare, and residential programmes; he brings these skills to his role as Dean.
Cynthia is a world traveler who has traveled and lived in many places, including USA, Australia and Dubai. She possesses a Master of Education in Psychology, with Ancillary Counseling Certification from Louisiana State University, USA, and has two additional years of graduate counseling psychology work at Pepperdine University, California, USA. Cynthia also has advanced training in mediation and negotiation techniques and as a Guardian Ad Litem. Currently, she is working on her Master of Strategic Public Relations at George Washington University, Washington D.C.
Yujiao holds an Msc degree in Management and Information System from the University of Manchester and now works as a management consultant for Global Fortune 500 clients. He has spent over 10 years in teaching, training, and talent performance both domestically in China and internationally in India, Germany and England.
Marina Zhang holds a Master degree in Information Systems and Management from the University of Warwick and has rich experience of education for last ten years. She lives in China and South Africa and establishes global students communicate network.
Masoud is the operational manager of Goldis Language Institute, the biggest language learning centre in north west of Iran. He started his PhD in linguistics in Lancaster University and shifted to applied linguistics at Erfurt university in Germany. He has the experience of teaching English in summer school in Oxford.
Esther holds a Masters Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Manchester. She has experience of working for many years in the Education sector at the Government of Kenya and has mentored a number of students during her career.
Haleema earned a BSc (Hons.) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. She has worked for the likes of ABN Amro Bank and Faysal Bank and has taken a sabbatical from banking to work as an independent consultant. She enjoys her work as an educational consultant for the Oxford Institute.
The Red Pen provides holistic guidance and empower applicants to make informed choices about studying abroad. The Red Pen was co-founded by Kavita Mehta and Kimberly Wright Dixit.
Aygül is a native British TESOL teacher currently living in Turkey, Izmir. She is the proud owner of Little Britain School of English and has over 8 years of experience teaching English as a second language as well as educational consulting and career coaching.
Ahmet holds an MBA degree and has worked as the Senior Lecturer, Director of International Office, and as the General Secretary of the European University of Lefke. In addition he worked as the General Manager and CEO of the Development Bank. He also worked as National Director and CEO at the SOS Children Village, Kinderdorf International. He represented his institutions in many countries around the world. Currently, he has a consultancy business called, Ataner Danismanlik (International Education, Career, Business & Investment Consultancy).
