The Oxford-China Summer Program       

The first ever Oxford Summer Program in China is taking place this year in Sichuan International Studies University, China, from 23rd July 2018 to 28th July 2018 (Batch 1) and from 30th July 2018 to 4th August 2018 (Batch 2). The Oxford Summer Program provides a platform to students in the 12-18 years’ age range, an opportunity to pursue their personal and academic interests, interact with their counterparts from across the world and learn from tutors affiliated with University of Oxford. A group of tutors associated with University of Oxford will conduct the first ever summer program of its kind in China.

FULLY FUNDED SCHOLARSHIPS FOR BRITISH STUDENTS 

We now have fully funded scholarships for British students (16 - 18 years of age) to join their counterparts in China.

Eligibility: The prospective students must be enrolled at a high school in the UK. 

Dates: 23rd July to 4th August 2018. 

 
The programme includes tailored sessions for international students on Chinese language, history, culture and the governance and economic systems. It also includes opportunities to meet with academics, business leaders and visit historical and cultural sites. 
All expenses incurred in China, including the boarding & lodging, food, tuition, co-curricular activities and sight seeing are covered by The Oxford Institute. The students are only expected to pay for their own air ticket and visa fee (if applicable).

How to apply to attend Oxford Summer School Program in China

Participants: 12 – 18 years old, Interview Required.

Location: Chengdu Institute Sichuan International Studies University, China.

Key Dates:

Batch 1            23rd – 28th July’18
Batch 2 30th July – 4th August’18

Requirement: Students must be currently enrolled at a school and have fluent English.

Fee: CNY 8900/- (this includes Tuition, Accommodation, Food, Co-curricular Activities and Learning Materials – the fee does not include travel to and from Chengdu).
