Health and Safety

The health and safety of all our students is of paramount importance. A number of arrangements are in place to ensure this including but not limited to the following:

24 Hours Supervision:

All our students are supervised round the clock and accompanied by our deans, lecturers and tutors. The students are divided into small groups during the outdoor activities (such as educational excursions) and are accompanied by trained and specialist staff members.

Deans Availability:

Our deans remain available at the students' accommodation at all times.

24 Hours Hotline:

We operate a 24-hour telephone hotline through which parents/guardians (or a designated person) can contact us round the clock to receive updates on their child.

Oxford University Campus:

All of the premises used by our students such as the accommodation block, lecture rooms, tutorial rooms and other buildings are part of the Oxford University Campus. Adequate security arrangements such as the gated compounds with computer controlled entry/exit, CCTV, the presence of security guards/porters and additional protection by the Oxford University Security Services is available at all times.

Fully Equipped Buildings:

All buildings at Oxford University are fully equipped with fire alarms and first aid is available at all times. Our deans are trained to deal with medical emergencies. Necessary medical supplies are available round the clock.

Students with special needs:

We also cater to students with special needs. However, we would require you to inform us beforehand. Additional assistance and arrangements would be happily provided on the basis of your request.

Oxford is generally considered one of the safest towns in the UK and the crime rate is exceptionally low. Given the safety measures mentioned above, parents/guardians should be at complete peace in regard to their child’s health and safety.
